Terms of service

These Terms apply to purchases made directly from Light Avenue.

By confirming an order, making a payment or deposit, or accepting delivery of goods, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the applicable quotation, sales order, invoice and policies issued by Light Avenue.

ORDER CONFIRMATION & DEPOSIT

A deposit may be required before an order is confirmed.

The required deposit amount will be stated in the relevant quotation, sales order or order confirmation and may vary depending on the product and type of order.

Unless otherwise approved in writing by Light Avenue, deposits paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Once an order has been confirmed, changes to products, specifications, quantities, pricing, delivery arrangements or installation requirements are subject to approval by Light Avenue and may incur additional charges.

PRE-ORDER & INDENT ITEMS

Pre-order and indent-item delivery dates are estimates and remain subject to supplier, stock and logistics availability.

For orders scheduled several months in advance, Light Avenue may contact the customer approximately one month before the requested delivery date to reconfirm the order details.

Failure to confirm the order when requested may result in a delay.

Customized products and indent items are generally not eligible for cancellation, return or refund.

PRICING & PROMOTIONS

All prices, promotional prices, discounts, free gifts and special offers are valid only during the stated promotional or quotation period.

Expired quotations or promotional prices are subject to review and approval before any extension can be granted.

PRICE MATCHING

Light Avenue may consider price-matching requests on a case-by-case basis.

Any comparison must be made on a genuine like-for-like basis, including:

• Same brand
• Same model
• Same specifications
• Same dimensions
• Same quantity
• Same warranty coverage
• Same services
• Delivery inclusions
• Installation inclusions
• Other applicable charges

Price matching and additional discounts remain subject to management approval.

CANCELLATION OF ORDERS

Confirmed orders are not automatically cancellable.

Where Light Avenue agrees to a customer-requested cancellation, an administrative, cancellation, open-box or restocking fee of up to 10% may apply.

Additional instalment, terminal or payment-processing charges may also apply where relevant.

PRODUCT CHANGES

Changes to confirmed products are subject to approval.

Requests made close to the delivery date may incur:

• Restocking charges
• Administrative fees
• Delivery charges
• Installation charges
• Rescheduling charges

DELIVERY

Delivery dates and times are approximate.

A delay in delivery does not automatically entitle the customer to cancel an order.

Customers must ensure that the delivery information provided to Light Avenue is complete and accurate.

All outstanding balances must be fully paid before delivery unless otherwise approved.

INSPECTION OF GOODS

Customers must inspect goods upon delivery.

Where the purchaser is not present, the purchaser should appoint an authorized representative to inspect the goods.

Any visible damage, missing items or quantity discrepancies should be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

RETURNS, EXCHANGES & WARRANTY

Returns, exchanges, refunds, product defects and warranty claims are subject to Light Avenue's Refund, Return & Exchange Policy and the applicable manufacturer's or product warranty.

UNCLAIMED OR DEFERRED GOODS

Customers are responsible for accepting delivery or collecting goods within the agreed timeframe.

Orders remaining uncollected or repeatedly deferred may be subject to:

• Storage charges
• Holding charges
• Cancellation
• Disposal of goods where applicable

Where collection or delivery is deferred for 6 months or more, a storage and holding fee of $160 per year may apply.

EVENTS BEYOND OUR CONTROL

Light Avenue may postpone or cancel fulfilment of an order due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Supplier shortages
• Inability to obtain materials
• Labour shortages
• Industrial disputes
• Fire
• Flood
• Severe weather
• War
• Civil disturbance
• Acts of God
• Other major disruptions

Where Light Avenue is unable to fulfil an order under such circumstances, any refundable amount will be handled in accordance with the applicable order terms.

CHANGES TO TERMS

Light Avenue reserves the right to amend its terms and policies from time to time.

The terms applicable to an order will be determined by the quotation, sales order, invoice and policies applicable to that transaction.
